Ringing Carillon Cheer, Bok Tower Gardens

by Dragonfly Lady 6. January 2010 02:10

Thanks to all who responded to last week's previous Wordless Wednesday entry entitled  The Carillon, Bok Tower Gardens In your responses many of you stated that you wished you could have heard the Carillon playing.

Well, my post today maybe nearly wordless but it is tuneful too!

I have posted a viddler video snippet of the Christmas Cheer that rang out whilst we were there Christmas Day at Bok Tower Gardens, Lake Wales, Florida.

I hope you will enjoy the tunes as much as we did!

That was truly beautiful!  I really enjoyed being able to hear the music that was coming from such a beautiful tower.
I have a greek church near my home that used to play bells like this every Sunday.  For some reason a few years ago they stopped.  I really miss hearing their chimes.

Wow.  Thanks for sharing the visuals and the sounds.  It must have been magical to hear that on Christmas Day.  I've heard you've been shivering in Florida lately (my mother who winters there says she has had to put a jacket on to go out!) and because of that the prices of our produce have skyrocketed.  It's winter as usual here in Montreal, snow, cold, winter.  *sigh*  at least I get to experience Florida vicariously through your blog!
